Pearsons View Parade of horses, March 2006

On the Saturday morning of the Australian Championships Pearsons View organised a get together for a small group of people from New Zealand and around Australia who contacted the stud prior to the show. All eleven horses and two foals were paraded in hand for the guests and as the best laid plans sometimes go awry, unfortunately a slight accident to Don could have caused a disaster. Luckily Greg Egan stepped in and ably assisted by Tracey Lange down in the stables showed the horses to perfection. Simeon Stav had Greg’s eyes sparkling with excitement as they played to the group and both Stavs Kru Sayd and Salaa Sihr were only momentarily confused before accepting that Greg knew exactly what he was doing. A nicer group of people would have been hard to find. Liz Christiansen and Karen Sheridan need sincere thanks for making sure Don was looked after as the parade continued for the guests. The best side of the Arabian breed was evident in both horses and people that day.
